About Us

Michael and Mary Beth met on our first day of orientation at the University of Minnesota, Morris. We had the same academic adviser and from our initial advisee meeting we continued running into each other (accidently and on purpose) over the next few days.

Michael started coming over to Mary Beth's floor to go to dinner with them, and when Swing Dance Club started, Mary Beth asked Michael to be her dance partner. We did the group thing for a few weeks and went on our first date in September, 2006. We've been together ever since!



Fun fact: Michael's last name, Zajicek, means "little rabbit" in Czech. This is a mosaic style painting Mary Beth made last year titled Zajicek.
